On my second trip to Saddle Mountain (i.e. the later trip which DIDN'T result in two dozen stitches in my right arm from falling off that trail) I had brought with me a panorama disposable camera which I found at a local grocery store. New challenge! I am happy with how some of these surprise panoramas turned out. The original photos are ten inches long. I reduced them to 7.5 inches for this website to be considerate to those who have smaller computer monitors.
As I turned on to the trail to go back down the mountain, I suddenly found my shadow-self there to greet me. Amusement ensued. Hmmm... how to do this shot... how DO I pose my left hand, anyway... and what to do about the fact that the shadow of my right arm had to be missing because my right hand was holding the camera? With a little creativity around these little problems, "Greetings, Mr. Jung" got born.
Just a view to the eastern summit of this two-summited mountain. Wasn't even fall yet, but the altitude made for some lovely fall-like colors. "Saddle Mountain Shrubbery"
It's a lovely view on that mountain... just be sure to arrive when there is no haze to block the blue on the horizon. But you can still see the Pacific Ocean from there.

There are a few more on this roll to scan... stay tuned. I wanted to show some of of the progress I have done already.
