I absolutely adore this character. I've always wanted to have a beautiful, hi-rez image of her. I always wanted a poster that shows this character saying something like this.

I remember emailing her creator, Pat Brady about that. Seems at the time, no such poster was forthcoming. Haven't seen one since. So on my own, I never did find a beautiful hi-rez image either to inspire me to try to do seemingly-impossible things.

However, I love Photoshop for a reason. Goal: make a mini-poster for myself which I can only hope of getting from the original cartoonist.

My re-creation is hi-quality enough to make a beautiful poster, if I was so inclined. The original image I scanned from the newspaper was fuzzy as you can see. I spent a LONG time carefully filling in the missing parts of the pic and clean it up.

This work is not for sale. I 'd rather not entangle with lawyers. I figure some lawyer type will tell me to ceast and desist at SOME point even as this was just intended as showing some of my Photoshop practice. I am too ethical to make money or a real poster from it. So enjoy it now until some corporate legal eagle scares it away. I am proud of how it increased my Photoshop skills, at least. :)
