This site, www.dreamcircle.com is just a summary of my creative work and thoughts, at least the creative stuff I managed to get online so far. I am Elana, (last name not important) and I been meaning to get around towards putting my various creative endeavors where folks might enjoy them. If something here gets at least one person to say "oh that's interesting" that would make it worth it.

When searching for a domain name some years ago, I wanted elana.com but that was long taken. ElectronicDreams.com, in reference to my 10-year elecronic music society project was gone too. The ultimate inspiration came from the great musician Steve Roach who had an album called "The Dreamcircle."

What a better name for one whose whole life seems to be revolved around the word "dream" in one way or another? It all started with my long-ago love of the band Tangerine Dream, continued onto my sadly-defunct Electronic Dreams project that ended some years ago.

The dream now morphs to my dreaming about what kind of new life I need to build from this point on.

My closest circle of friends here in Portland, Oregon orginally came from my Electronic Dreams experences. We used to call ourselves Dreamers before that incredible project ended. Circle, of friends, circle of Dreamers = Dreamcircle. It works.

Basically this site exists for me to upload my random, cool creative stuff.
I have a lot of creative stuff sitting around. Really. I just have get around to uploading it.
Not to mention, finishing this intro page you are now reading.
